As a congregation, we are hoping to run seven sessions of Christianity Explored, the popular, informal guide through the Gospel of Mark, looking specifically at the person and claims of Jesus Christ.
The course will meet in the church (time/date TBC) and is open for all, whether you have knowledge of the Bible, or whether you are a regular in church who just wants to know a little more. It is geared to reach across all levels of knowledge. It asks key questions about who Jesus is, why He came to die, and what it means for us day-to-day. Please get in touch via the website, or email at [email protected]. We look forward to meeting you. We have been grateful this weekend to enjoy having Rev. Graeme Craig, FCC Minister in the Ayr Congregation, with us for our communion weekend. We have heard him preach in Revelation 3 ("Behold I stand at the door and knock...") on Saturday, on the "...travail of his soul" on Sunday morning, and on repentance from Luke 15 on Sunday evening. Tonight (Monday), a thanksgiving service will be held at 7.30 pm, again conducted by Rev. Craig. |
